SBP Targets 535 Bn Rupees in T-bill Auctions
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will auction 535 billion rupees ($6.27 billion) worth of 3-, 6-, and 12-month treasury bills in the quarter ending Sept. 30, the central bank said on Friday.
There will be six auctions in the July-September quarter, with the first due on July 14 and having a target of 100 billion rupees, the SBP said.
Subsequent auctions will be held on July 28 and Aug. 11, with targets of 85 billion rupees and 125 billion rupees respectively.
The next two auctions will be on Aug. 25 and Sept. 8 with targets of 75 billion rupees each, the central bank said.
The last auction for the quarter will be on Sept. 22, also with a target of 75 billion rupees, it said.
